THE 2009-2010 school year:
Our school, established in 1990, is in the sixth year located at St. Robert Bellarmine
Church. We are extremely thankful for Msr. Sam Sirianni. We are truly blessed to
have him here and thank God for him and his service to our God, His church and His
people. Father Ed, Father Valentine, Deacon Rolf, Monica, Maureen, Helena and
Judy are also always gracious and supportive of our school.
This is the second year we begin here without our dear friend
Father Thomas J. O’Connor who went to be with our Lord on June 11, 2008.
Father O’Connor took in the entire school when others would or could not. Had it not
been for his willingness to provide us a home, and later add to that provision a
wonderful office space, we would not have continued.
What started as a guarded relationship grew into one of mutual respect and
friendship. Over the years, and after many conversations, we came to find out that
we had much more in common than at odds, he Catholic, me raised Baptist and now
worshipping in a Reformed Church. He was a smart man full of knowledge in many
many areas. He could recall information and details from years gone by, and loved
to share stories about events in his past, all the way back to his early years in Ireland.
I miss my friend. I miss his stories, his laughter, his wisdom, his counsel, his teasing,
and the twinkle in his eye.
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
Nadean D. Sheppard, Head of School
He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8

community in which they live and the world at large, striving to love their
neighbor as themselves, and
Biblically rooted: viewing their life and the world from God’s perspective.
